How to use the drug?

  • Do consult a doctor before using the medication. You must not use this drug if it has not been prescribed to you. Never take more amount of this medication than prescribed.   • ·         This pill can be taken orally either before or after food along with a glass of water. Never consume it with alcohol or street drugs.

  • ·         Shift workers can use the drug about an hour before their shifts begin.

  • ·         Also, tell your doctor if you have had anye liver/kidney problem, prior heart attacks, high blood pressure, prior surgery, mood/mental illness, or a history of substance use disorder. Show your entire medical reports to your doctor when you go for a check-up.

What to do when you miss a dose?

Take it immediately as you remember in case you have missed a dose. However, if it is almost your bedtime, skip it as consuming it near your bedtime can make you suffer from sleep disturbances. Also, never take a double dose to cover up for the missed pill. Keep on taking the doses as you do on a normal basis.

Precautions!!

  • ·         This drug must be stored in a cool and dry place where there is no excessive heat, moisture, or direct sunlight. Keep it locked in a place that is not easily reachable by children or pets. You must not keep this drug in your washroom.
  • ·         Throw away any unused or expired products that are lying in your house right away.
  • ·         This drug is specifically made for adults only. Children or teenagers aged 17 years or less must not use this drug at all.
  • ·         Never give this drug away to other people. Also, don’t sell this drug out to other people. Selling or giving away this drug is against the law. Note that Armodafinil can be addictive. If you give it to people who have prior drug/alcohol addiction problem, they may fall into addiction.
  • ·         Also, avoid such tasks that require you to be mentally alert at least until you can again perform them safely. This medication may make a person feel light-headed.
  • ·         People who do not have any sleep disorders must not use this drug to postpone their typical sleep schedule.
