Soma Pill is a brand version of the generic drug
Carisoprodol which has been in use since the year 1959. It is a prescription
drug that helps people with acute and muscle pain to get effective relief from
such pain. This pain med works effectively when used with proper rest and
physical therapy. This pain med is an effective muscle relaxer that works in a
person’s central nervous system. It alters the pain sensations that are sent by
the neurotransmitters in the brain and in the spinal cord. This pain med
provides a person with both mental relaxation and muscle relaxation to the
user. A person who is in physical pain cannot stay relaxed. They feel restless
and chaotic. This pain med helps them to attain a relaxed and calm mind in
addition to muscle pain relief.
Soma pill
is a controlled substance so declared by Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) under
the Controlled Substances Act. This product has been abused to a great level
due to which it has been declared as a controlled substance and should be
bought with prescriptions in many countries.
How should you use Carisoprodol?
- · Use this oral pain med with a glass of water irrespective of your meal time.
- · Normally, doctors prescribe the adults with muscle spasms to take 250-350 mg for about three times in a day and once before bedtime.
- · The usual prescribed time period for taking soma is about 2-3 weeks maximum. Do not use the pain med for a longer duration than prescribed.
- · You should never use this pain med with alcohol or with street drugs. This can actually lead to some long-term serious health consequences in you.
- · Store this product at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.
- · Keep the drug in a safe place so that it is not easily reachable for pets or your children.
- · This pain med is an addictive substance; so, it is advised that you do not share it with people who have a past of drug or alcohol addiction problem.
- · Throw away any medicines that you are no longer using or that have already expired.
- · This drug is not approved for use by people who are less than the age of 18 years.
What should you inform your doctor?
- · Inform your doctor about every treatment that you are on at present. They can include prescribed drugs, over-the-counter drugs, recreational drugs, nutritional drugs, illegal drugs, dietary drugs, herbal treatments etc.
- · If you are very addicted to alcohol or drugs, you must inform your doctor about it. It is not advised that you use this medication with any such substances as it can result in very harmful consequences.
- · You must tell your doctor about your past illnesses. If you have a genetic enzyme disorder called porphyria, then you must not use this product. Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, mood/mental disorder, liver or kidney disease etc.
