•    Also, do not consume this drug with alcohol or any other such substances. This might lead to some dangerous side effects on your body.

Who should not consume it?

•    Avoid taking this drug if you are allergic to it or allergic to Armodafinil (Nuvigil) or have any other kind of allergies.
•    Give your doctor complete details about your medical history as it will ensure if this medication is indeed right for you.
•    Children under the age of 17 years are not approved to take this medication.
•    It is not yet known whether Modafinil can harm an unborn baby. Therefore, if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, you must consult a doctor before taking this medication.
•    Also, whether it passes through breast milk or if it harms a nursing infant is not certain. So, to be safe, consult a doctor before taking this pill.

Important Points

•    This drug has a potential to be addictive. Avoid sharing this drug with any other person especially with someone who had been a drug addict before. This drug must be kept away from children and animals. Misuse of this drug can lead to addiction or even death.
•    Keep it in a safe place and at a room temperature away from moisture, heat and direct sunlight. Never keep it in your washroom.
•    Avoid doing any such activities that require you to be mentally alert (like driving, operating big types of machinery in factories etc.) at least until you can safely perform them. This is because this drug has the potential to make you a bit light-headed.
•    Overusing a drug for a long time may make you dependent on this drug both physically and mentally. If you suddenly stop taking it after becoming dependent on this drug, your body may start to develop withdrawal symptoms. Talk to a doctor if you experience such symptoms.
